So the power went out in my apartment two nights ago for about 17 hours. It was actually pretty cool. My roommate/bff and I snaked some ice cold cruisers and discussed in detail the Oscar nominations. We played some songs and went to sleep in a totally silent apartment. No familiar sounds of my computer’s cooling fans spinning super fast because I play too much Minecraft. It was nice....

bababadooperf: To some extent what a professional athlete does off the field really does matter. It creates heroes and villains and get fans more engaged in the game when we genuinely care about our teams’ players and want them to succeed. This is why it is so fucking infuriating to me that people can care what… This is so true and it annoys the heck out of me.

Today
I drove down to Towson to do an open mic night. I was going to play my new song. However, the open mic night was canceled because of the snow. After hanging out for a while with my bud, I drove home in the ridiculous weather. I have no idea how I didn’t die. The highways and backroads were absolutely horrible and I thought I wasn’t going to make it without some kind of problem....
